Edward VI (1547-1553), Third Period, Fine Silver Issue, Sixpences, 1551-1553 (2), Tower, crowned bust facing, rev. square-topped shield over cross fourchée, 2.91g, 1h, m.m. tun, crack at 6 o'clock through lower half of flan, crimped, pecked and with scratches to face, otherwise toned, scarcely good / fine; another, Southwark, (Under-Treasurer, Sir John Yorke), similar, 2.76g, 7h, m.m. y (Spink 2483; North 1938), polished and crimped surfaces, poor (2).
