James I (1603-1625), Second Coinage, Shillings (7), third bust (2), 1604-1605, 5.79g, 8h, m.m lis; another, 1605-1606, 5.50g, 7h, m.m. rose (North 2099; Spink 2654); fourth bust first bright silver but with some dark spots, fine, second flatter, nearly fine (2); fourth bust (4), 1605-1606, 5.29g, 7h, m.m. rose; 1606-1607, m.m. escallop (3), 5.02g, 7h; another, 5.72g, 2h; and, 5.82g, 8h; lastly, 1607, 5.69g, 1h, m.m. grapes (North 2100; Spink 2655), some creased or scratched, otherwise waterworn or porous, portraits largely flat, otherwise good to almost fine, an interesting academic grouping (7).
