Charles II (1660-1685), Crown, 1663 XV, first laureate and draped bust variety right, extra curl on neck and another below C of CAROLVS, no frosting, rev. no stops in legend, second revised crowned shields cruciform, nine strings to harp, lettered edge downwards, 29.46g, 6h (Bull 357/359; ESC 26/27A; Spink 3354), flecked and rubbed, only good, but the variety presumably very rare and unlisted by Bull.
Apart from the extra curl on the neck all features agree with Bull 359 and ESC 27A. Bull lists nine varieties of 1663 XV, and ESC lists seven. None of them mention the curl on the neck.
