Charles II (1660-1685), Crown, 1681 TRICESIMO TERTIO, fourth laureate and draped bust right, rev. crowned shields cruciform, six strings to harp, lettered edge downwards, 30.06g, 6h (Pywell-Phillips 26; Bull 414; ESC 64; Spink 3359), lightly wiped with sporadic surface marks and traces of flecking, otherwise residually lustrous and partially retoned, a trace of adjustment to French shield, very fine, a sound example for issue.
