Charles II (1660-1686), Halfcrown, 1674 over 3 [?] VICESIMO SEXTO, fourth laureate and draped bust right, rev. crowned shields cruciform, seven strings to harp, lettered edge upwards, 14.59g, 6h (Adams 325 same reverse die; Bull 467 [R4]; ESC 476A; Spink 3367), lightly flecked, surface marked, rubbed and toned, a small bump at 11 o'clock, struck soft at date but the variety apparent and confirmed by the Adams die match, fair / good fine, very rare.
