Charles II (1660-1685), Shilling, 1670, second laureate and draped bust right, rev. crowned shields cruciform, eight strings to harp, edge obliquely milled, 5.49g, 6h (Pywell-Phillips 59; Bull 517 [R2]; ESC 1033; Spink 3375) heavily worn with residual toning in fields, the date seldom offered at auction, mediocre / fair, but rare.
