Charles II (1660-1685), Shillings (2), 1683, fourth laureate and draped bust right, rev. crowned shields cruciform, five strings to harp, edge obliquely milled, 5.54g, 6h (Bull 558 [R2]; ESC 1065) well worn both sides, poor to about good, rare; additionally, 1684, similar, rev. no stop after HIB, six strings to harp, 5.32g, 7h (Bull 559 six strings not recorded; ESC 1066; Spink 3381), horrendously scrubbed, scratched and burnished, struck details poor / fair, but the scarce final year of issue (2).
