James II (1685-1688), Sixpence, 1686, first 6 over 6 and 8 over 6, laureate and draped bust left, rev. crowned early cruciform shields, four strings to harp, obliquely milled edge, 2.95g, 12h (Pywell-Phillips 130; Viles 3788; Bull 774; ESC 1525A; Spink 3412), planchet flaw at 6 o'clock and some light surface marks, otherwise toned, a bolder fine / almost very fine.
