William and Mary (1688-1694), Halfcrown, 1689 PRIMO, laureate and draped busts right, first V over A in GVLIELMVS, rev. inverted N in REGINA, then broad space to crown, first crowned shield, caul only frosted, with pearls, seven strings and eight billets, lettered edge downwards, 14.36g, 6h (cf. Morton & Eden 109, 4 November 2020, lot 590 same dies; Bull 833/832; ESC 505A/-, not 505B as given in Bull; Spink 3434), surface marks in reverse field and lightly cleaned, otherwise residually lustrous, near fine, an unpublished but predictable variety muling.
