William III (1694-1702), Great Recoinage, Norwich, Halfcrowns (3), 1696 N OCTAVO, rev. small crowned shields cruciform, small early harp with five strings, nine billets, 14.65g (Bull 1083; ESC 538; Spink 3479), and 1697 N NONO (2), rev. large crowned shields cruciform, large late harps with seven and five strings, five billets, upwards 13.83g, 6h; upwards, 14.86g, 6h (Bull 1091; ESC 550; Spink 3491), all from the wreck of the Association and so, as expected, surfaces well worn, about fine, the first with characteristic shipwreck copper colour, the last double struck, otherwise almost very fine (3).
