Anne (1702-1714), Post-Union, Crowns (5), London, 1707 SEPTIMO, second draped bust left, rev. colon stops after BRI:, HIB: and REG:, crowned shields cruciform, nine strings to harp, lettered edge upwards, 29.44g, 6h (Bull 1344; ESC 104; Spink 3601), initials AC carved in obverse fields, with darkened surfaces, very good / fine; additionally, Edinburgh (4), London dies (3), 1707 E SEXTO, similar, E below, rev. no stop after ET, colons, after MAG:, BRI:, HIB, and REG:, thirteen strings to harp, lettered edge downwards, 29.35g, 6h (Bull 1353) a distinct metal flaw in obverse field that corresponds to a flaw on rim, otherwise rubbed and cleaned with adjustment marks, fine / almost very fine for strike; another, 1707 E SEXTO, as last, rev. stop after ET, nine strings to harp, lettered edge upwards, 29.26g, 6h (Bull 1351; ESC 103) heavily worn, mediocre to good; another, 1708 over 7 SEPTIMO, as last, rev. nine strings to harp, lettered edge downwards, M over E in SEPTIMO not visible, 29.33g, 6h (Bull 1355; ESC 107; Spink 3600) heavily circulated but the variety clear, about good; lastly, 1708 SEPTIMO, 'Z type 1', Small 08, as before, rev. Local Edinburgh die, crowned shields cruciform, seven strings to harp, lettered edge, 29.62g, 6h (Bull 1356; ESC 106; Spink 3600) adjustment marks below bust, otherwise very good (5).
