Anne (1702-1714), Pre-Union, 'Plumes' Halfcrown, 1704 TERTIO, first draped bust left, rev. crowned shields cruciform, plumes in angles, seven strings to harp, lettered edge upwards, 14.95g, 6h (Pywell-Phillips 214; Bull 1359 [R2]; ESC 570; Spink 3581), lightly polished but residually lustrous, with traces of flecking, otherwise a bolder very fine, the key date, especially scarce in higher grades, even when adulterated.
