Anne (1702-1714), Pre-Union, Shillings, 1704 (2), second draped bust left, rev. crowned shields cruciform, angles plain, six strings to harp, edge obliquely milled, 5.90g, 7h (Bull 1389 [R5]; ESC 1132; Spink 3587), lightly cleaned, but rather pockmarked to face, a hint or peripheral tone, otherwise struck details only good / fine, but extremely rare; addionally, 1704 'Plumes', similar, rev. plumes in angles, six strings to harp, edge obliquely milled, 5.60g, 6h (Bull 1390 [R2]; ESC 1133; Spink 3588), some light graffiti on otherwise flat portraiture, old toning, otherwise only poor to good, but rare; an excellent opportunity to obtain the most elusive date and varieties in the Queen Anne Shilling specie for the budget-conscious collector (2).

Estimate: £240.00 - £300.00
