Anne (1702-1714), Pre-Union, Shillings (5), 1705 (4), first draped bust left, rev. crowned shields cruciform, angles plain, five strings, edge obliquely milled, 5.87g, 6h (Bull 1391 [R2] although 5 strings not noted; ESC 1134; Spink 3587), portrait tooled and details crudely reapplied, solder marks at 9 and 12 o'clock where removed from a mount, cleaned with resultant hairlines, now retoned, struck details about fine, the type rare; others, 1705 'Plumes' (2), similar, rev. plumes in angles, six strings to harp, 5.60g, 7h, flat, poor; another, six strings, 5.92g, 6h (Bull 1392; ESC 1135; Spink 3588), rubbed and toned, scuffed on brow, otherwise fine / good fine; also, 1707 'Roses and Plumes', as first, rev. roses and plumes, six strings, 5.92g, 6h (Bull 1393; ESC 1136; Spink 3589), lightly cleaned and rubbed, retoned, fair / near very fine (5).
