George I (1714-1727), 'Roses and Plumes' Crown, 1716 SECVNDO, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, rev. crowned shields cruciform, roses and plumes in angles, eleven strings to harp, lettered edge downwards, 29.92g, 6h (Bull 1540; ESC 110; Spink 3639), lightly cleaned but residually lustrous, a hint of tone to reverse, very fine, the reverse pleasingly so.
