George I (1714-1727), 'Roses and Plumes' Crown, 1720 SEXTO, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, rev. crowned shields cruciform, small roses and plumes in angles, ten strings to harp, lettered edge upwards, 29.96g, 6h (Bull 1544 [R2]; ESC 112; Spink 3639A), heavier adjustment marks on drapery and corresponding area on reverse, otherwise a pleasing very fine, rare with the unaltered date.
