George I (1714-1727), 'Roses and Plumes' Halfcrown, 1720 over 17 SEXTO, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, rev. crowned shields cruciform, roses and plumes in angles, nine strings to harp, lettered edge downwards, 14.87g, 6h (Bull 1555; ESC 590; Spink 3642), cleaned with scratches before face, light flecking both sides, otherwise residually lustrous, a pleasant very fine.
