George IV (1820-1830), Halfcrown, 1823, Type 1, laureate head left, rev. crowned and heavier garnished shield, eight strings to harp milled edge, 13.81g, 6h (Davies 173; Bull 2364 [R3], type A/1a; ESC 633; Spink 3807), rubbed to high points and with scuff below ear, nevertheless toned and honest, strictly good fine, very rare and highly underrated.
