From the dawn of history, the Jewish people have had a great influence on the development of medical science. Medicine in the modern Israel continues this outstanding tradition. Many personalities in the Zionist Movement were themselves doctors who laid the foundation for modern medical practice in Israel. The State emblem appears with the year of issue, 1995 5755, and "ISRAEL' in Hebrew, Arabic and English.
