IONIA, Ephesos. Circa 180-67 BC. AR Tetradrachm (26mm, 12.58 g, 1h). Cistophoric standard. Dated CY 52 (83/2 BC). Cista mystica with serpent; all within ivy wreath / Two serpents entwined around bow and bowcase; headdress of Isis above; to left, NB (date) above EΦE, torch to right. Kleiner, Dated 53; DCA 325; SNG Copenhagen 330. Scattered marks and scratches, scrape on reverse. VF.
