Augustus. 27 BC-AD 14. AR Denarius (20mm, 3.71 g, 5h). Uncertain Spanish mint (Colonia Caesaraugusta?). Struck circa 19-18 BC. Head left, wearing oak wreath / CAESAR above, AVGVSTVS below, round shield inscribed CL • V. RIC I 35; RSC 53a corr. (without laurel trees). Toned, banker's mark and a few scratches on reverse. Near VF. Extremely rare.
