Bronze, 68.4mm, 158.3g, em:hand. laur. head l. rev. view of the 5-arched bridge and embankments to either side, PONT DE THIONVILLE INAUGURÉ LE 1 NOVEMBRE 1846. During World War II two arches of the bridge were blown up by the French, though later replaced by the Germans who, in turn, destroyed it again before the Allies could reach it. It has since been replaced with the Pont des Alliés.
