Very Fine; light cleaning marks to fields.

From the inventory of a German dealer.

Having subjugated the Parthians and dethroned their king Osroes I, Trajan imposed a new puppet-ruler, the conquered ruler's son, Parthamaspates. We see here the personification of Parthia kneeling before the Emperor, and Trajan, who is seated on a suggestum and attended by the commander of the Praetorian guards, presenting Parthamaspates.
