Mesopotamia, Singara. Gordian III. A.D. 238-244. AE 32 (31.9 mm, 23.73 g, 1 h). ΑΥΤΟΚ Κ Μ ΑΝΤ ΓΟΡΔΙΑΝΟ ΑΒ ΤΡΑΝΚΥΛΛΙΝΑ ЄΒ (or similar), confronted busts of Gordian III, laureate and cuirassed right and Tranquillina, diademed and draped bust left / ΑΥΡ ЄΠ ΚΟΛ ΙΝΓΑΡΑ, draped, veiled and turreted Tyche, seated left on rock, holding grain ears; centaur left above her; below, river god swimming left. Cf. RPC VII.2, 3468; BMC 8-13. Near VF, heavy deposits.
