D N MAGNEN-TIVS P F AVG, bareheaded, daped and cuirassed bust of Magnentius right, A behind head / GLORIA ROMANORVM, Magnentius in military garb on horse rearing right; holding shield and preparing to spear barbarian who kneels left beneath horse's forelegs; broken spear and shield beneath horse // T RP (crescent). RIC VIII 269-271; LRBC 53-55. Good VF, well centered and struck on adequate-size but somewhat ragged flan with 3 rim breaks but losing nothing; glossy olive patina.
