Anne (1702-1714), Post-Union, Shilling, 1708, third draped bust left, rev. four crowned shields cruciform, six strings to harp, obliquely milled edge, 6.00g, 6h (Bull 1399; ESC 1147; Spink 3610), a strikingly balanced example, handsomely lustrous and accentuated by soft but colourful cabinet tone, good extremely fine, scarce in so honest attractive state.
