Anne (1702-1714), Post-Union, 'Roses and Plumes' Shilling, 1713 over 2, fourth draped bust left, rev. four crowned shields cruciform, roses and plumes in angles, six strings to harp, obliquely milled edge, 6.02g, 6h (Pywell-Phillips 248; Bull 1411; ESC 1160; Spink 3617), a striking example with rich cabinet tone overlying residually lustrous fields, good very fine, the reverse better and the overdate clear.
