George I (1714-1727), 'Roses and Plumes' Shilling, 1719, first laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, rev. four crowned shields cruciform, roses and plumes in angles, seven strings to harp, obliquely milled edge, 5.93g, 6h (Pywell-Phillips 271; Bull 1567 [R2]; ESC 1166; Spink 3645), rubbed and lightly toned, almost very fine, a scarce date in any grade.
