George II (1727-1760), Shilling, 1728, young laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left, rev. four crowned shields cruciform, nine strings to harp, angles plain, obliquely milled edge, 5.98g, 6h (Bull 1698 [R2] nine strings not noted; ESC 1191; Spink 3699), a flaw under the R of GEORGIUS and another thin scratch in the field, otherwise lightly toned and residually lustrous, very fine, scarce.
