George II (1727-1760), 'Roses and Plumes' Shilling, 1728, E over R in GEORGIVS, young laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left, rev. four crowned shields cruciform, roses and plumes in angles, seven strings to harp, milled edge, 5.97g, 6h (Bull 1697; ESC 1192 the error not noted; Spink 3698), some brightness on cuirass where an attempt was made to remove haymarking, otherwise lightly toned and residually lustrous, otherwise strictly fine / good fine, probably rarer than indicated in ESC.
