George II (1727-1760), 'Roses and Plumes' Shilling, 1736, young laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left, rev. four crowned shields cruciform, roses and plumes in angles, eight strings to harp, obliquely milled edge, 6.03g, 7h (Pywell-Phillips 336; Bull 1709; ESC 1199; Spink 3700), cleaned with resultant hairlines in residually lustrous fields, struck details almost extremely fine.
