George II (1727-1760), 'Roses' Shilling, 1743, old laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left, rev. four crowned shields cruciform, roses in angles, seven strings to harp, obliquely milled edge, 6.00g, 6h (Bull 1720; ESC 1203; Spink 3702), a few highly superficial marks, otherwise neatly cabinet toned, a really good very fine.
