George II (1727-1760), 'Roses' Shilling, 1745, old laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left, rev. four crowned shields cruciform, roses in angles, seven strings to harp, obliquely milled edge, 6.02g, 6h (Bull 1722, seven strings not noted; ESC 1204; Spink 3702), flecks of haymarking on the obverse, otherwise lightly toned and lustrous, almost extremely fine.
