George II (1727-1760), 'Roses' Shilling, 1747, old laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left, rev. four crowned shields cruciform, roses in angles, seven strings to harp, obliquely milled edge, 6.04g, 6h (Pywell-Phillips 344; Bull 1728; ESC 1209; Spink 3702), very faint flecking, otherwise lightly toned, a pleasing very fine.
