George IV (1820-1830), 'Lion' Shilling, 1825 '5 over 3', bare head left, rev. Lion atop crown, edge milled, 5.62g, 6h (Bull 2404; ESC -; Spink 3812), of subtly die-capped appeared with a broader rim, with heavier scuffs on neck, subsequently cleaned, nevertheless a clear example of the '5 over 3' variety which is evidently the result of die cudding, very fine, supposedly extremely rare'.
