Lion atop crown, edge milled, 5.69g, 7h (Pywell-Phillips 510; Bull 2413; ESC 1260; Spink 3812), rim bruise at 12 o'clock, otherwise darker tone overlying original lustrous surfaces, a bolder very fine, a scarce date in the Chantrey series.
