Charles II (1660-1685), Sixpence, 1675 over 4, laureate and draped bust right, rev. interlinked C's in angles, three strings to harp, obliquely milled edge, 2.87g, 6h (Pywell-Phillips 75-76; Viles 3781; Bull 568; ESC 1514; Spink 3382), some striking weakness to date, the overdate nevertheless clear, otherwise lustrous and attractively toned, iridescent in legends, a most pleasingly bold very fine, scarce in this state.
