Charles II (1660-1685), Shilling, 1668, second laureate and draped bust right, rev. both 6s in date repunched, four crowned shields cruciform, six strings to harp, straight milled edge, 5.97g, 6h (Bull 511; ESC 1030; Spink 3375), cleaned and flecked, with a die flaw through CAR of CAROLVS, nevertheless residually lustrous, very fine, the reverse better.
From the same dies as the previous coin. The repunched date has not been noted in the reference works and is very clear on this example.
