Any of the 50+ types that make up the first series of Renminbi are very scarce to extremely rare (if not unknown) in original uncirculated condition. While this is not one of the rarest types, its original condition is certainly noteworthy. Some handling accounts for the choice uncirculated grade, but it presents above average for the type. Certainly destined for an advanced collection.
