Colombia, Banco del Cauca 16.5.1881 P-S360a PMG Choice Fine 15 10 Pesos
A very scarce private Colombia issue from Cali, printed by the American Banknote Company. Records indicate that just 6,000 were printed (not all were issued, and some were later overprinted for issuance by the Banco del Estado), but only a handful of issued examples are known. This particular example has good eye-appeal, with strong signatures for the type. The restorations mentioned by PMG are fairly limited and do not distract from the overall appearance of the note. PMG mentions "Restoration".
