Akbar (AH 963-1014/1556-7605 AD), Agra Dar-ul-khilafa Mint, Silver Rupee, AH 977, Obv: Arabic legend Kalima Shahada within a wavy square, the four Caliphs' names in the margin, Rev: Persian legend "Jalal ud-din Muhammad Akbar Badshah Ghazi" with Hijri year 977 within a square, ruler's title & "zarb Agra" with "epithet Dar ul Khilafa" partly visible at the bottom, 11.24g, 25.92mm, (Unlisted in KM), test marks, about very fine, Very Scarce.
Note: In this specimen, the Persian letter 'YE' of "Ghazi" at the top of the reverse is in its 'lazy' or Majhool form, creating an attractive calligraphic divide.
