Charles II (1660-1685), Halfcrown, 1679 TRICESIMO PRIMO, fourth laureate bust right, rev. no stop after FRA or HIB, crowned cruciform shields, interlinked Cs in angles, six strings to harp, lettered edge upwards, 15.16g, 6h (ESC 481; Bull 480; Spink 3367), adjustment mark through laurel wreath and by first figures of date, lustrous and richly cabinet toned, a pleasingly good very fine.
