Charles II (1660-1685), Shilling, 1683, fourth bust right, rev. crowned cruciform shields, interlinked Cs in angles, five strings to harp, obliquely milled edge, 6h, 6.03g (ESC 1065 [R2]; Bull 558; Spink 3381), hairline scratch to obverse field and some rub to hair, otherwise very darkly toned, very fine and very rare.
