George I (1714-1727), 'South Sea Company' Sixpence, 1723, large lettering, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, rev. crowned shields cruciform, SSC in angles, five strings to harp, five hearts, edge obliquely milled, 2.98g, 6h (Bull 1614; ESC 1601; Spink 3652), good very fine.
Bull describes B over R in BR, but on the previous page he illustrates what he says is R over B in BR. Fortunately here we have neither so we do not have to worry.
