George II (1727-1760), 'Roses and Plumes' Halfcrown, 1735 OCTAVO, young laureate and draped bust left, rev. crowned cruciforms shields, roses and plumes in angles, twelve strings to harp, lettered edge downwards, 15.03g, 6h (Bull 1677; ESC 598; Spink 3692), lightly flecked and toned, hints of peripheral underlying lustre, a really good very fine.
