SASANIAN KINGS, Shapur I, (240-270 AD). Æ (2.62 gm; 17 mm). Obverse, Shapur's bust with standard crown but earflap turned behind the ear trning right, reverse, fire altar with attendants. Well struck on anice broad flan. Choice VF. Original find patina. Extremely rare type as its silver drachm.
