Roman Gaming Token(?), cut from uncertain late Roman Æ Nummus. Circa 4th century AD. Obverse erased and cut with crude cross / Emperor standing facing, holding globe and sceptre, cross to either side. Cf. RIC X 421 for type without crosses (Theodosius II). 2.16g, 13mm x 15mm.
Condition as seen. Reverse design seemingly from an unpublished type with the two crosses flanking.
From a private English collection.
