Lot of 57 assorted cheques from the Canadian Bank of Commerce dated 1947 to 1949 containing excise stamps or postage stamps as required at the time. Also includes 5 checks dated 1953 to 1957 which no longer required excise payments. Includes 10 debit slips from the Bank of Toronto. All 72 items contain rubber stamping from the banks as well as pinholes confirming payment.
