Greece 15.4.1923 P-74a PMG Choice UNC 63 EPQ 25 Drachmai
Printed by ABNC, which followed another issue of this denomination printed by Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co. Very scarce, particularly in original uncirculated condition, as seen here. This National Bank issue was later overprinted for the Bank of Greece, which is also a difficult note in any grade. This note is surpassed by just one finer example in the PMG Population report, a PMG 64 that lacks the "EPQ" designation due to a pinhole which brought $3840 in January 2022. This original choice uncirculated example with no issues should be as desirable if not more so, but we will keep the estimate low and let the bidders decide.
