Jamaica 1960 (ND 1964) P-52d PCGS Choice UNC 63 5 Pounds
The 5 Pound denomination was the highest denomination issued in Jamaica in the 1960s and all varieties are scarce to downright rare in uncirculated condition. This is the final variety, with signature of G.A. Brown. It was issued even after Jamaica had become independent in 1962, but before an entirely new redesigned series was introduced. Many were exchanged when the new series came out, and the available notes are nowhere enough to meet demand. A popular type.
